Correspondence, annual reports, minutes, financial records, camp facilities surveys and directories, and camp brochures and newsletters of this non-profit St. Paul organization. Begun in 1939 by twelve member agencies of the St. Paul Community Chest, the association's main purpose was to provide year-round camping activities for the youth and adults of Ramsey County. It was involved mainly with the operation of the St. John's Landing (1939-1973) and Head of the Rapids (1954-1965) camps, both located in St. Croix State Park; Camp Wilder (1958-1964), in Washington County; and Camp Owendigo (1960-1965), located on Carver Lake in Washington County. The association was disincorporated in 1973.
